BridgingMinds’s NICF – ITIL® course in Singapore is a three-day classroom training course designed to assist professionals looking to play a larger role in developing, implementing and managing IT service quality. A higher quality in IT service is crucial in order to deliver better business value.
In order to achieve this end, our course is designed for the IT professional and consultant who are integral in developing ITIL® best practice guidelines, implementation as well as providing ITIL® certified support.
Practical examples and real-life case studies are used to improve and assist the student’s understanding of key ITIL® concepts throughout the course. At the end of the three-day classroom training, the student will be armed with a comprehensive understanding and complete knowledge of ITIL® processes and practices, as well as confident in his/her ability to not only pass, but do exceptionally well in the ITIL® certification examination.
Upon passing the examination, the ITIL® Foundation certificate is awarded to the candidate. Participants will also earn 21 Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units upon course completion.

The ITIL® course introduces the concept of the Service Lifecycle. As the course progresses, addition key concepts of each ITIL® function, process and lifecycle stage will be expanded upon. By the end of this course, the participants will be able to identify:
- The stages and processes within the Service Lifecycle
- Business value of implementing each process in an organization
- Objectives and basic concepts related to each process
- Activities and roles involved in each process
- Relationship of each process to other processes
- Terminology, techniques and practical approaches

The ITIL® course is targeted at IT Practitioners including user-interfacing frontline staff, IT Consultants, IT Service Providers and IT Managers who are involved in the developing, designing, managing and delivering of a full range of IT services within their organization.
Delegates who successfully complete the course and pass the examination will be granted certification with the ITIL® Foundation under the BCS Certification Scheme. Delegates who do not attain a passing score for the examination would be awarded a Course Attendance Certificate only.
Delegates who successfully complete the course and pass the examination will be recognized as certified with ITIL® Foundation certificate under the AXELOS certification scheme. Delegates who do not attain a passing score for the examination would be awarded a course attendance certificate only.
There are no prerequisites to attending the ITIL® Foundation course or for sitting for the ITIL® Foundation certification examination.
The duration of the Certification Examination is 60 minutes.
It is a closed-book paper containing 40 MCQ (multiple choice questions) with 4 possible choices to select from for each question. Only one out of the four options is the correct answer. Each of the 40 questions carries 1 mark for the correct answer. A candidate is expected to answer all questions and must attain a score of 65% (26/40) and above to pass the examination and qualify for ITIL ® certification.
For WSQ Funded Participants, do be aware that there will be assessment that needs to be completed that is done separately from the ITIL Foundation exam.
